The Stanford-bound senior learned last week that she has been named the 2013 Words Unlimited Schoolgirl Athlete of the Year for her outstanding accomplishments in indoor and outdoor track, as well as cross country. That includes her victories in the 1000-1500 and 3000-meters at last year's indoor state meet.
