Here are the results of the final indoor coaches poll. Thank you all for getting me your votes today. I am substituting in as reporter for this poll due to Bob's email issues.
“Around the Oval’’ 3rd Poll: Rams Hold Leads
R.I. Track & Field Foundation
17 Feb. – – The final of three coaches polls conducted this season by the R.I. Track & Field Foundation has both La Salle teams as top vote-getters. In the girls’ team voting, the Rams grabbed 9 first-place votes and 116 points. In a finish for the second spot was Cumberland with 108, followed by North Kingstown with 91 points to round out the top three. Barrington moved up two spots to tie for 6th with Hope. In the boys’ voting, La Salle also grabbed 9 first-place votes and 114 points. Hendricken took the second spot with 102 points and moving up into third was Central with 87 points. West Warwick jumped up four places into 5th with 54 points.
The State Indoor Championship will be held this Saturday, February 20th.
