The 2015 Girl's season is officially over and Classical once again had a very productive season.  Although competing in Division I was very challenging, the players gained tremendous experience playing the best teams in the state.  When any player competes day in and day out against better competition their level of play rises dramatically.  Our girls improved tremendously and they all know the parts of their game they need to improve to be ready for next season.  Our team for the second year in a row received the Division I Sportsmanship Award, and our very own Sarah Brosofsky (#1 singles), was voted onto the second team All-Division.  Our two senior captains, Sabrina Ozuna and Funmibi Yusuff, did and outstanding job keeping the team focused and positive throughout the season.  This was our first season at Classical with an assistant coach for tennis, which enabled Coach Mendiburu and her Junior Varsity team to play a full match schedule.  With the improvements our varsity team made this year, and the participation and match play experience of the JV players, the future of girl's tennis looks very bright indeed.
