Coach Palazzo and uncle Antonio represent R.I. in Masters Ultra weight championship
Hi Carolyn,
I thought you might be interested in seeing this.
Bob Palazzo and his uncle Antonio Palazzo threw in the USATF Masters Throws Championships Sunday at Connecticut College in New London, CT.
They both competed in the national “Ultra Weight Pentathlon Championships”.
“Ultra Weight Pentathlon” means that Bob threw the 35, 56, 98, 200, and 300 POUND weights, and Uncle Tony (82 years young) threw the 12, 25, 35, 44, 56 POUND weights!
Bob finished fourth, and Uncle Tony finished first. His point total of 2,592 is the second best in the three year history of the event.
Here are the results. To fit it on one page I am not including point totals for individual events, just the total. I am also attaching a small Excel file in case the format below is gets jumbled.
